CMDI celebrates ASEAN’s 51st Foundation Day

CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) commemorated the 51st Founding Anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on its morning assembly on 6 August 2018 through the singing of ASEAN anthem led by its choral group, CMDI voices.

The singing of the anthem and other related activities aims to nurture the awareness of every student on the ASEAN and understand its goal of community building.

The ASEAN was founded on 8 August 1967 and this intergovernmental organization aims to promote economic, political, and educational integration and cooperation among its 10 member countries namely: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
