CMDI joins district athletic meet

Twelve public and private schools in Bay, Laguna participated in this year’s district athletic meet on 6 to 9 September 2018. CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) joined for the second time and was led by the school’s varsity members.

The CMDI athletes competed in different sports events including volleyball, basketball, athletics, badminton, table tennis, chess, and billiards; and had a representative for the Muse and Escort.

CMDI bagged the 2nd place in men’s basketball and volleyball; Claire Barba and Andrei Belarmino also got the 2nd place for the Muse and Escort; Patrick Bishop Lunar Roque gained a silver medal and Irish Mandigma got the bronze in the badminton singles category; 3rd place in athletics; 2nd place in chess men’s category; and Zyra Hernando was declared the champion as she bested all the other athletes with her fine billiards skills.

CMDI is truly proud of its students and is ready to support not just in academic competitions but in sports as well.
