The Dean and Institute Director, Edzel Ramos, welcomed the staff and selected students, members of the Executive Committee, and CARD founder and Managing Director, Dr. Jaime Aristotle Alip. He recalled that CMDI started out as the training arm of CARD MRI and through years of hard work and dedication, it is now also an educational institution offering a college program on entrepreneurship with focus on microfinance. He was also glad to announce that CMDI will offer Senior High School with Accounting, Business, and Management (ABM) track this school year. He also introduced the new faculty members of CMDI.

The night moved on with a trivia game about the Senior High School Program where winners were given products from Mga Likha ni Inay as prizes. Meanwhile, two talented students, Reymond Quilantang and Rezia Mae Hade, serenaded everyone with their powerful voices. Equally talented were the members of the CARD MRI Performing Arts Group, who entertained the audience with their rendition of a few of the latest pop songs. Lastly, an audio-visual presentation featuring the high school and college photos of selected ExeCom members was shown, much to the delight of everyone.

Dr. Alip, in his closing message, commended CMDI for its new milestone in providing Senior High School, and strengthening its college program for the coming school year. He also thanked everyone for joining CARD MRI’s monthly activity which is the Kapihan. Lastly, he also joined the faculty members for a photo opportunity.
