184 SHS learners graduate in CMDI Tagum

A total of 184 learners finished their Senior High School in CMDI Tagum Campus on April 24, 2019. The 2nd commencement exercises was held in the newly constructed gymnasium of the school.

CMDI Tagum was accredited by the Department of Education (DepEd) to operate as a SHS institution in 2016. To date, the school already produced two batches of SHS graduates under the Accounting, Business, and Management (ABM) track.

According to CMDI President Flordeliza L. Sarmiento, CMDI is still young in the academe but it already produced number of graduates who have been taught with quality education and exposed to various programs that are essential for them to cope in this competitive times.

“CMDI, aside from having advanced facilities, is home to many development practitioners in the field of microfinance and social development. Our way of nurturing our learners is experiential, making them prepared in the future,” added Sarmiento.

CMDI offers student assistant program were students are able to earn money to sustain their daily needs and acquire experience as they enhance their potential.

“I’m overwhelmed with the opportunities that CMDI has given me so I can continue my study. Through the student assistantship program, I am able to earn money and save for my future while studying,” said Leslie Rellanos, SHS graduate.

Since CMDI Tagum offers degree courses since its accreditation in 2018, Leslie plans to continue her studies at CMDI and will take up Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship.

“I want to build my own business to help my family and to give back what the institution gave to me and to my family,” she added.

CMDI Tagum is expecting for more upcoming students who will pursue their studies. Through its SHS and degree programs, CMDI hopes to develop future graduates who are entrepreneurs, which will be their gateway in making their lives better.
