CMDI opens Senior High School

June 13, 2016 is one for the history books of CARD MRI as its training and education arm, CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI), formally opened the Senior High School curriculum in Tranca, Bay, Laguna. A total of 95 Senior High School students are enrolled.

The students and their parents were warmly welcomed by the staff, faculty, and members of the Executive Committee. Dr. Enrique L. Navarro, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research delivered the opening remarks and he noted that it is indeed a surprising and significant achievement for CMDI in particular and CARD MRI in general, to establish a Senior High School. He also added that the Department of Education appreciates and recognizes CMDI’s valuable contribution in the education sector.

Meanwhile, Dr. Dolores Torres, Vice President for Corporate Affairs, delivered the inspirational message in behalf of CARD founder and President, Dr. Jaime Aristotle Alip. Lastly, Ms. Lorenza Bañez, Executive Vice President of CARD Bank, Inc., also shared words of inspiration for the students.

The rest of the day was dedicated to an orientation on the general school policies, library policies and procedures, school facilities, and the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS). A campus tour was also conducted to culminate the day’s activities.

The CMDI Tagum City campus in Davao del Norte also opened its Senior High School, simultaneous with the start of classes in most private and government educational institutions around the country.
