CMDI Tagum college students recognized

Seventy-six BS Entrepreneurship students of CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) Tagum City Campus were recognized for their exemplary academic performance for the SY 2018-2019 on April 11, 2019 with a simple ceremony at the school gymnasium.

The event became more meaningful when the guest speaker, Jade Cezar Canonoy, CARD MRI scholar and current Account Officer of CARD, Inc. Toril Unit spoke about hard work, the value of friendship, and the importance of showing gratitude to people. He also inspired the students with his stories and experiences in life including all the challenges he had to go through just to finish his studies.

Also present during the ceremony is CMDI Tagum’s Vice President for Operations, Christian Albert Sandoval; Associate Dean, Daisy Jane Caballero; and college faculty members, Edgar Sernada, Nikkie Abalunan, and Jelyn Cabreros who also hosted the event.

Ms. Caballero concluded the program with a motivational message wherein she encouraged all the students to always do their best as they move to the next level of their education. She cited the role of education in eradicating poverty and the vision of CARD MRI’s founder, Dr. Jaime Aristotle Alip, that poverty shall become a part of history.

The students were awarded certificates of recognition as their parents accompanied them on stage.

Associate Dean Daisy Jane Caballero further motivated and inspired the students in her closing remarks.

 

Students from Block 2, 3, and 4 entertained parents and students with various dance presentations.
