CMDI Bay Campus Magna Cum Laude Edrian Banania (rightmost) delivers his speech of gratitude as the Class 2022 Outstanding Student. After graduation, Banania joins CARD MRI as one of its 16,000 staff nationwide.
The CARD-MRI Development Institute Inc. will be holding its graduation ceremony with the theme “CMDI Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of Adversity” for its two campuses in Bay in Laguna and Tagum City in Davao del Norte on July 22 and July 26, 2022, respectively.
“We are very proud of our graduates for embracing the challenge of learning in the new normal. From face-to-face classes to abruptly adjusting to modular and blended learning, our students showed excellence and competence in their studies,” CMDI President Flordeliza L. Sarmiento explains.
From its Bay Campus, there is a total of 135 SHS and 198 college graduates for the Academic Year 2021-2022. Meanwhile, there is a total of 242 SHS and 138 college graduates for its Tagum Campus.
“CMDI has equipped our students with the right tools so we are confident that they can pursue their dreams after their graduation. It is our goal that they, too, will become contributors of positive change to their own communities,” said Sarmiento.
Being a member-institution of CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions, CMDI has a pool of experts and practitioners in the field of entrepreneurship, accountancy, technology, and other related fields. To further deepen the knowledge and skills of their learners, CMDI collaborated with CARD MRI Information Technology, Inc. and FDS ASYA Philippines Inc. for an internship program.
Senior Executive Vice President Dr. Edzel A. Ramos further explained that the challenge and opportunity of the new age pushes the academic institution to go beyond the norm, “Even as students, we know that they are already capable of adapting to the working environment. In preparation for their employment or entrepreneurship, we have established collaborations with other CARD MRI that will enable them to practice the theories they learned from our blended classroom.”
Meanwhile, aspiring accountants are also provided with opportunities for financial support for CPA Review. “We understand how challenging it must be for fresh graduates to pursue accountancy review right away. In order to support them, we have designed a program that will allow our graduates to pursue their dreams of becoming Certified Publica Accountants,” Ramos stated.
