CMDI welcomes Senior High School Students
The CARD-MRI Development Institute (CMDI) through the Academic Division (ACAD), conducted an orientation to students of Senior High School (SHS) on June 8, 2017 at CMDI Auditorium, Brgy. Tranca, Bay, Laguna.
The said orientation intended to welcome more than 250 Grade 11 and 12 students for the Academic Year 2017-2018; impart the mission, vision, and history of CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI); and familiarize them on the general school policies, registrar concerns, clinic services, facilities, and other school-related matters.
Ms. Glenda Lagarile, Deputy Director for Tertiary Education and Partnership Education Department (TEPED), warmly welcomed the students and their parents. “We’re very happy that you enrolled at CMDI and that we exceeded the target number of enrollees,” she said.
Ms. Deverna dT. Briones, Vice President for Administration and Academic Affairs, emphasized the “3E” educational goals of CMDI — Enrollment, Exposure, and Employment. “We are here to equip you emotionally and intellectually as a person, but you have to be responsible for your own success,” she advised.
In addition, Mr. Neil Polinag, Registrar and Assistant Vice President for Center of Leadership, further discussed the humble beginnings of CARD MRI. He also highlighted CMDI as an academic institution that provides quality and practitioner-led training and educational services. “There are many opportunities to come because you’re here at CMDI,” said Mr. Polinag. “By providing the right tools, we’ll be able to help them rise from poverty”, he added.
