CMDI bags fifth place in the ABM Quiz Bee 2018
The CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) joined the “2nd Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Cup 2018” and placed 5th overall in the ABM Quiz Bee on March 9, 2018 at the St. Anne College, Inc. in Lucena City.
Apart from allowing the students to showcase their scholarly excellence, the annual regional inter-high school competition conducted by the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) encourages comradeship among 75 delegates from 15 different colleges and universities in Region 4.
With the intellect and efforts of the Grade 11 students: Krisha Joy Villarin, Kaye Rivera, Clark Hannah Baloncio, Venus Morete, and Lyka Joie Lanip, the institution earned 171 points to guarantee the 5th place.
“We are very impressed with the dedication, hard work, and intelligence of our students,” said Mr. Wilfredo Llanto, ABM instructor and one of the coaches.
“I am very happy that our students continue to bring prestige and honor to our school,” expressed Ms. Deverna Briones, Vice President for Administration and Academic Affairs. “We commend our teachers and coaches for a job well done,” she added.
On the other hand, the five participants were very proud to represent CMDI. “We really enjoyed and learned a lot. Thank you very much for giving us the privilege to experience this one of a kind event,” Ms. Rivera acknowledged.
