CMDI Tagum celebrates 1st Senior High School Graduation
The CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc. (CMDI) at Tagum City concluded the school year with its 1st Senior High School (SHS) graduation with the theme “Towards Nation Building Thru Education; Learners: Ready to Face Life’s Challenges” on April 17, 2018.
Held in the campus, the venue was designed with the institution’s motif color, orange, which signifies education and the triumph of the graduates over various challenges.
The said ceremony is another important milestone in the existence of CMDI as it continues to grow and empower individuals and communities through education.
The 51 students were glad as they were accompanied by their proud parents in receiving their most awaited diplomas and medals which symbolize their academic success. In addition, students who excelled both in academic and non-academic areas were awarded with certificates of recognition and medals.
The top of the class 2018 with high honors, Ms. Caroline Indangan, gave her heartfelt speech and narrated the experiences and circumstances that she and her classmates had to overcome, which left the crowd in tears. “Thank you very much to the people who helped me become what I am today. This graduation is just one of our beginnings and I dedicate this achievement to my parents,” she said.
On the other hand, Mr. Christian Lauron, Commencement Speaker and Financial Services Organization Advisory Partner from Sycip, Gorres, and Velayo (SGV), advised the graduates to keep on dreaming, believing, and working towards reaching the goals in life.
Dr. Jaime Aristotle Alip, CARD MRI Founder and CMDI Chairman, reminded students to continue to grow and develop the skills and talents that are vital for success. “Do your best,” he said.
Lastly, the staff and faculty cheered and clapped for the achievements of the institution and its students and with the hope that the graduates will continue their learning journey with CMDI.
